From Struggle to Strength: My Journey as a Coach for Men Over 40
Life has a way of throwing curveballs when you least expect it. For me, the journey to becoming a coach for men over 40 wasn’t a straight path—it was filled with challenges, heartbreak, and moments where giving up felt like the easier option. But if there’s one lesson I’ve learned, it’s this: persistence pays off.
I often think about the story of two frogs who fell into a vat of milk. One gave up and drowned, but the other kept swimming through the night, eventually churning the milk into cheese and escaping. That story resonates deeply with me because, in many ways, I’ve been that second frog—swimming through life’s challenges, refusing to give up, and finding strength in the struggle.
The Struggles That Shaped Me
My journey hasn’t been without its share of pain. Divorce was a turning point in my life—a period where everything felt like it was unraveling. It’s hard to describe the sense of loss that comes with it, not just of a relationship but of the life you thought you were building.
On top of that, I faced a serious injury that left me unable to run—something I’d always relied on, not just for fitness but for mental clarity. Rehab was grueling, both physically and emotionally. There were days when progress felt nonexistent, and the temptation to quit was overwhelming.
But here’s the thing: I didn’t quit. I kept going, one step at a time, even when it felt like I was moving backward.
The Importance of Keeping Going
That’s the message I want to share with every man out there who feels like life has knocked them down: keep going. Whether it’s divorce, injury, or simply the weight of life catching up with you, the key is to keep moving forward. It’s not about massive leaps; it’s about small, consistent steps.
For me, those steps eventually led me back to running. The first time I laced up my shoes and went for a run post-rehab, I felt a spark of hope. It wasn’t fast, and it wasn’t pretty, but it was a start. And that’s what matters—the willingness to start again, no matter how many times you’ve fallen.
Why I Coach
This journey is why I’ve dedicated myself to coaching men over 40. I know what it feels like to hit rock bottom, to feel like the best years are behind you. But I also know the power of resilience and the incredible transformations that can happen when you refuse to give up.
Through my coaching, I aim to help men rebuild their strength—not just physically but mentally and emotionally. It’s about creating a life where you feel confident, capable, and ready to face whatever comes your way.
Join Me on Project Titan
If my story resonates with you and you’re ready to take control of your health and your life, I’d love for you to join me on Project Titan. It’s a 1-year program designed specifically for men over 40 who want to get into shape, regain their confidence, and get their lives back on track.
Project Titan isn’t just about workouts and meal plans—though you’ll get plenty of those. It’s about transformation. It’s about building a version of yourself that you’re proud of, one step at a time.

You don’t have to go through life’s challenges alone. Let’s work together to make this year the one where you turn things around. Because no matter where you’re starting from, you have the power to keep going and create something incredible.
